Headless stones

Headless stones, between these I roam.Seeking names etched in times record.

Not once found, though twice I’ve gone around.

None bear your name, such a shame.

Once gone are we, few will your memory see.

Ashes, castoff memories shed by flame.

No one soon, will know your name.

Remembering why I came, was not your fame.

Loves call brought us all, to these headless stones.

Where do you now roam, so far from home.
