Torment loves sin

Once again, your visit delves into my sin.Past passions haunting my nights from within.

Words unspoken, deeds undone, you’ve again won.

Reminding me of my failures to strengthen your fun.

Anguish loves torment, torment loves sin.

Purged of the past, here new I will begin.

Born of blood shed for my life.

Return no more, he’s taken my strife.

Forgiven, forward we forge, over your crags we surmount.

Given my past, his spirit moves fast, on his love I now count.

Rest fills my heart, but I cannot pause, I must start.

To share of his peace, his lope and this love, from above filling my heart.
