In-Christian lands

In between the stones and sand grinding between tired feet and leatherThere is a piece of unabused flesh that will carry me further.

Peace knows my struggling will, his blessings I always feel.

Knowing this, I carry on, singing praises to Christ in song.

I know his hope for me is grand, as I walk in un-Christian lands.

Hearing his voice, pulling my heart, I walk this path he did once start.

Take this soul, weary and denied, carry me now from these who’ve lied.

Father find in my your grace, for nothing can your love replace.

Knowing this, I carry on, singing praises to Christ in song.

I know his hope for me is grand, as I walk in un-Christian lands.

Here beside this unused path, pains fleeting tears divert evils wrath.

Standing for Christ alone, accepting hates constant stones.

Beaten, battered and bruised, we wait for each of you.

Knowing this, I carry on, singing praises to Christ in song.

I know his hope for me is grand, as I walk in un-Christian lands.
