So long ago

So long ago, pressed into a rolling chair.Pulled from childhood, at others to stare.

Why lord do you have me here?

I heard, Patience, see what will be.

Again I Found myself languishing in pain.

This world seemingly against me, again.

Why lord do you have me here?

I heard, Patience, see what will be.

My life in tatters, family pulled from me.

Anguishing over failures, troubled, not free.

Why lord do you have me here?

I heard, Patience, see what will be.

A face from my dreams, faiths reward it seems.

Cancer raved her form, struggling for a new norm.

Why lord do you have me here?

I heard, Patience, see what will be.

Regardless the place that I’m in.

Jesus’ peace, fills me again.

Why lord do you have me here?

I heard, Patience, see what will be.
