At the Gate

Nations anxiously wait guarding against hate at their gate.
Fearful of a few who come here too to murder and maim.
Unsteady still as voices inside the wall call for bedlam before the fall.
Brothers sister neighbors and friends seeking evil in the homeland.
With hates smile sown to each face jacketed with anger they rage in the gate.
Calling falsely on a deities name they willingly play the Devils game.
Bloodied and bruised freedoms people now choose to war on hate.
Standing steadfast in the gate facing inward and out they give a great shout.
“God knows your name he knows your hate. We stand here united for divided we fall.”
Nations anxiously wait guarding against hate at their gate.
