Darkened minds

Darkened minds
I have seen into the darkness which clouds men’s minds…
Wrapping around the strands of reason, restricting choice while belittling success…
Each stifling strand owes its birth to evils demands…
Within angry hearts desiring others thoughts, wicked wants begin…
Winding through the hopes of men, wresting faith where it first begins…
Frothing religious fervor, denying rights of those we seek to nurture…
Seething with desires lust, each fatwa, decree with edict a must…
Hearing hates immortal cries, deny these rights, for which men die…
Painted broadly despair coats liberties frame, dishonoring freedoms name…
Wretched thoughts built on covetous dreams, rend humanities soul at the seams…
Singing with my fathers choir, a chorus if hope not feeding Hells fires…
Share hope, not hate and you will see, many faiths, a nation grows to be…
Stifle one, denying others, live with segregationist wretched colors…
Simple is the plan of men, who deny us once again…
Taking pieces till the puzzles gone, leaving none with a map to carry on…
Willingly share with others what you care, learn their hopes if you dare…
Nights crooked fingers loose their grip, as liberties light pries them with her might…
Untangled, fetters torn, darkness looses her hold on humanities form…
